Almost Four Months Out!

So this past Tuesday I saw my breast surgeon for the first time since my surgery in January. I have been to the plastic surgeon a number of times since then but this was the first follow up with the woman who actually removed my breasts. She said everything looks good and to see her in a year. Going forward I asked about routine screenings and she said no more! I no longer need regular mammograms or breast MRI’s unless there is a specific reason to look at something. This is just amazing news.

I figured I wouldn’t have mammograms going forward but some doctors like to do MRI’s every few years to check the integrity of the implants but she said for the kind I have, there is no need! So happy to hear this news!
